I've started a random tour through some of the Sherlock Holmes stories in order to spot the allusions better in the Sherlock series. I've read every one of these at least once before many decades ago, so feel no need to read them in order. What I have found, and I'm guessing it was the case way, way back, is that I enjoy the shorter stories to the long novels.
